"Out On A Limb"
 

This sampler uses rich hues from Crescent Colours and DMC and is stitched on 32-ct. Lambswool from Wichelt. A birdie needs a bit coaxing before taking flight. An inspirational verse reads: "Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where the fruit is." The springtime tableau includes flowers, a butterfly and snail. The frame is by East Side Mouldings. Stars and hearts forever!  A quilt-patterned cross stitch design features the 13-star formation found on an early U.S. flag.  "America" interlocks four times within a striped border.

A heart-shaped design celebrates the blessings of stitching. The brown-and-white border is inspired by an antique box with mother-of-pearl inlays.
